GS-Hydro announced that Juha Silvennoinen has been appointed the new CEO. Juha most recently worked as President, Services in Metso Minerals, responsible for one of three global divisions. He will start on 16 November and will succeed Pekka Frantti, who has chosen to resign after five years in the position.

GS-Hydro announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of SEK 320 million against SEK 285 million a year ago. EBITA was SEK 8 million against SEK 12 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITA was SEK 10 million against SEK 12 million a year ago. Good development in both the marine and land-based customer segments but continued weak trend within the offshore segment.
