Graham Packaging Reports Operating Results for the First Quarter of 2015
May 7 15
Graham Packaging reported operating results for the first quarter of 2015. Graham Packaging's revenue decreased 8% to $655 million in the first quarter of 2015. This decrease was primarily driven by lower sales volume; unfavorable foreign currency impact, particularly in the euro, the real, Mexican peso and the Polish zloty; and lower resin price due to lower resin costs. On an LTM basis, revenue decreased 9% to 2.686 billion. Adjusted EBITDA was decreased 3% or $4 million to $113 million in the first quarter of 2015. This decrease was primarily driven by lower sales volume and unfavorable mix and unfavorable foreign currency impact. This was partially offset by favorable timing of resin cost pass-throughs.
