The fund is managed by Delaware Management Business Trust. It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in the tax-exempt municipal debt obligations issued by the state and local governments to raise funds for public purposes such as hospitals, schools, etc with a dollar-weighted average effective maturity of between 3 and 10 years.
