Universal Consumer Products Announces 2014 Line of Premium Deck and Railing Products
Feb 28 14
Universal Consumer Products, Inc. announced exciting additions to its 2014 line of premium deck and railing products. Expanded options include several fresh post cap styles, new designs and colors for balusters, and an innovative solar postcover post cap. Responding to consumer research into the latest color preferences, Deckorators added Textured Gray, Textured White and Weathered Brown to its list of colors currently available on its most popular balusters: the Classic and the Estate. These updated color choices complement the leading railing and decking colors. The understated, textured finish gives these balusters an upscale look. The new colors are available in 26- and 32-inch heights and are backed by a lifetime limited warranty. The company also announced to introduce two new, patent-pending aluminum baluster styles for 2014: the Twist and the Ellipse. The square Twist, available in black and bronze, features three, evenly spaced, 180-degree twists that can infill an entire rail or be combined with square Estate balusters for added interest. As its name suggests, the new Ellipse baluster has an elliptical shape that allows for a number of different infill configurations and mix-and-match patterns for varied design options. Available in black and bronze, these new baluster styles are available in 26- and 32-inch heights and are backed by the same lifetime limited warranty as other balusters. Post caps are more popular than ever, and Deckorators now offers more styles than ever. The new Solar Wood post caps are handcrafted with a beautiful, all-wood, pine frame; frosted glass; and warm LED lighting. They're available in two styles, craftsman-inspired Heritage and elegant Archway, and in two sizes that fit standard 4x4 and 6x6 wood posts. The new Hammered Metal post caps bring a popular interior design style outdoors and feature an attractive, hammered metal top in both an aged copper or aged stainless finish. The newest must-have products on the outdoor living scene -- cast-stone postcovers -- are now offered with a solar post cap option, making them more popular than ever. The new Woodland Gray Solar post cap has a low profile and a traditional design with 12 LED lights shining around the perimeter, illuminating the postcover.
