Visible Technologies announced enhancements to Visible Intelligence (VI) with its September 2014 product update. These new enhancements allow users to better leverage VI for their marketing and business needs through the extension of streamlined and customizable workflows, agile social segmentation, uploading “Owned Content” into VI through the API, and the addition of Instagram monitoring and analysis. With Visible Technologies’ acquisition by Vocus and Cision, its enterprise social media intelligence platform Visible Intelligence adds a large array of social media solutions to the companies’ powerful PR and marketing communication tools. The September 2014 update enhances this robust platform to further expand brands’ social media monitoring, analysis and engagement tools. Highlights from the September VI product update include: On-Demand Segmentation: Dashboards can now be instantly updated by applying a category to reflect the desired segmentation. Users can apply any of their defined categories to target a specific location or region such as the West Coast, speaker persona, topic, product attribute and more. Couple the category overlay with “Sticky Dates” to update that segmented view for a different time period. This enables powerful, extensive updated views within seconds. Engagement Workflows Tuned for the Situation. Transition a Conversation to Twitter Direct Messages: This feature makes it easy to transition a public Twitter conversation to a private one. Without leaving VI, users can directly access Twitter’s direct messages for the provided social profile and continue the discussion out of the public’s eye. Post Approval Workflow: Users can expand their social media response team without worrying about any missteps when posting responses on social media to customers. This feature allows administrators to approve tweets or posts, prior to them being sent. This security permission can also be removed at any time, enabling responses to be sent immediately. Owned Media Content Ingestion: Community site posts, market survey responses, and other owned media content can now be automatically uploaded into VI using the API. Brand content, with its supporting enrichments such as location, tags, published date, etc. can be uploaded at designated time intervals. This feature makes it easier for users to add content into VI for analysis alongside social. Content Expansion: Instagram Posts: VI now incorporates Instagram posts and direct comments using the popular network’s API. Users can segment their analytics to review only Instagram data or in association with other social data for comparison across the social ecosystem. Visible Technologies, Inc. announced new features for its Visible Intelligence(R) (VI) platform helping marketers identify and interpret social trends with attribute-level category segmentation and more automated reporting options. The new features enable brands to respond directly to comments on Facebook without ever leaving the VI dashboard, and automatically delivers social analytic reports tailored to meet the needs of various department managers. Scheduled social media updates of any dashboard, including how a brand is performing relative to competitors, can now be automatically sent directly to a marketer's inbox, as well as other lines of business managers, at their desired frequency. By creating this "set it and forget it" schedule, brand managers ensure their teams and necessary recipients are always up to date. Additional new features of the VI platform include: Facebook Reply Button - The VI platform now allows brands to target replies directly to specific Facebook commenters without having to notify everyone else in that conversation thread. Share of Voice Analysis - Marketers drill into insights quickly based on the comparison of up to 16 categories, including product attributes, author characteristics and reputation drivers. With optimized analytics, brand managers can compare and contrast which product attributes drive more positive and negative brand conversations.
