Tango Networks Introduces Mobile Messaging for Cisco Jabber
Jun 8 15
Tango Networks has introduced mobile messaging for Cisco Jabber, a solution that builds on Cisco Jabber, Cisco's collaboration tool, and allows users to send messages from Cisco Jabber through text with other users on any device, in or out of the corporate network. Tango Networks is introducing mobile messaging for Cisco Jabber at Cisco Live, Cisco’s annual IT and communications conference. It works by converting the Cisco Jabber instant message into an SMS text that can be delivered via the wireless network. Using the familiar Cisco Jabber interface, it extends the reach of the Cisco Jabber client beyond the corporate network. As a result, it gives them a new way to collaborate with members both inside and outside of the company.
