Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd. Plans to Open Outlet in Gong Badak by November 15, 2014

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd. announced that it is expanding its operations in Terengganu with the opening of an outlet in Gong Badak by November 15, 2014. The company said the second Mydin outlet in the state involved an investment of MYR 100 million. The Mydin Complex in Gong Badak is double the size of the first outlet and has a floor space of about 400,000 sq ft and 180 shoplots. Mydin will open a new outlet in Bertam near Kepala Batas, Penang next Tuesday and also aimed to open five more outlets next year including in Bukit Mertajam, Penang; Taman Pelangi Indah, Johor Baharu; and Melaka.

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd Opens Biggest Outlet at Seremban 2

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd is on an expansion mode with the opening of its biggest outlet in the country at Seremban 2 on December 13, 2013. The new outlet, costing MYR 275 million, is the company's 13th hypermarket spanning 950,000 sq. metres and offers 250 retail lots for rent. Meanwhile, the company also planned to open five more hypermarkets next year with an estimated investment of MYR 650 million.
