Matías Garfunkel and Sergio Szpolski are expected to acquire Nextel Argentina and Nextel Chile for nearly $250 million, local paper Clarin reports. According to the report, Grupo Veintitres plans to make an offer to NII Holdings this week in order to acquire the two subsidiaries. Garfunkel and Szpolski will partner with Argentine and US capitals in order to make the acquisition.
