Airasia, IAAX Enter Brand Licence Deal

AirAsia Bhd announced that it has entered into a brand licence agreement with PT Indonesia AirAsia Extra (IAAX) on the use of the brand name, trademark and logos of AirAsia X in Indonesia. The company said to Bursa Malaysia that the agreement is subject to IAAX obtaining an air operator's licence, which is issued by the Indonesia Directorate General of Civil Aviation. IAAX is an Indonesian joint venture company of AirAsia X Bhd (49 per cent) and PT Kirana Anugerah Perkasa (51%).

Indonesia Asahan Seeks Financing

PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Inalum) is looking for $1.33 billion of financing, Chief said. Loans, internal cash and initial public offering are the sources from where the financing will come, Winardi, President Director of Inalum, said. “Around 30% to 35% will use internal cash, while the remainder will come from external funding,” Winardi added. If shareholders approve then, Inalum may go for an IPO in 2016.
