Canal+ Group announced audited earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of EUR 1,489 million against EUR 1,454 million a year ago. LBITA was EUR 43 million against EUR 36 million a year ago.
For the year, the company reported revenues of EUR 5,456 million against EUR 5,311 million a year ago. EBITA was EUR 583 million against EUR 611 million a year ago. This change in EBITA mainly reflected the VAT increase in France, partially offset by strong results in other countries. The company recorded an increase in revenues due to the development of its international activities which offset a slowdown in France resulting from a VAT increase at the beginning of 2014.
