VIZIO Announces Release of All-New 2015 M-Series Ultra HD Smart TV Collection

VIZIO announced the rollout of its second Ultra HD line-up, the all-new 2015 M-Series Ultra HD Full-Array LED Smart TV collection. Backed by the brand's leadership in Ultra HD technology, the VIZIO M-Series offers a wide range of screen sizes from 43" to 80", as well as stunning picture quality and access to several Ultra HD streaming apps. The collection features a Spatial Scaling Engine to upscale lower resolution content to near 4K Ultra HD picture resolution, along with Full-Array LED backlighting with up to 32 Active LED Zones, and up to Clear Action 720, which together produce a stunningly beautiful Ultra HD experience. The all-new VIZIO M-Series Ultra HD Full-Array LED Smart TV collection displays over 8.3 million pixels in every image, four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD, bringing breathtaking detail and clarity into consumers' homes. Full-Array LED backlighting offers an even distribution of light for superior uniformity as compared to Edge-Lit TVs, and up to 32 Active LED Zones deliver precise, controlled backlighting with extremely high contrast and deep black levels. Active Pixel Tuning enables pixel-level adjustments of brightness for increased picture accuracy and contrast. These technologies, combined with powerful image processing, allow for sharper detail and ensure fast moving scenes appear clearer than ever. Support for HDCP 2.2 allows playback of protected Ultra HD content while the latest HDMI 2.0 standard enables Ultra HD playback at 60Hz. This helps to ensure consumers using next generation cable and satellite receivers, Blu-ray players and game consoles that support Ultra HD content playback, will be able to plug and play those devices with their M-Series Smart TV. MSRP pricing for the collection starts at $599.99 for the 43" M-Series Ultra HD Smart TV up to $3,999.99 for the 80" class size.

VIZIO Launches 2015 Home Audio Collection

VIZIO announced the launch of its 2015 home audio collection, which features seven all-new models, complementing screen sizes from 32" and up. The company is set out to design audio products that serve an optimal enhancement for advanced HDTVs, bringing superior sound to any room in the house. The VIZIO 2015 home audio collection offers a wide variety of options, ranging from the VIZIO 29" 2.0 Sound Bar to the 40" 5.1 Sound Bar System. The new line-up also includes the VIZIO 2.0 and 2.1 Sound Stands, ideal for smaller spaces like traditional media cabinets. The latest audio offerings from VIZIO are starting to roll out to retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, BJ's Wholesale, Costco Wholesale, Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart. As the main fixture in the all-new 2015 collection, the 40" 5.1 Sound Bar System provides consumers with the ultimate home theater audio experience, pumping out clear, room-rocking sound. The sophisticated, metallic surface delivers incredible audio and lines up with any 47" or larger class TV. A true 5.1 surround sound experience is now possible due to the three-channel sound bar, wireless subwoofer and dual rear satellite speakers – which outputs a Sound Pressure Level at 102 dB with less than 1% total harmonic distortion2. The 40" 5.1 Sound Bar System offers HDMI support, giving consumers the best possible audio connection to their TV and other A/V devices, while Bluetooth® with aptX® enables CD-quality wireless streaming via supported devices. Built-in Dolby® Digital surround sound provides dramatic special dimension and enhanced audio for an engaging listening experience, while DTS® audio technologies, including DTS Digital Surround, DTS TruVolume and others, further enhance the audio experience to provide deep bass, crisp audio detail, clear vocals and intelligent volume-leveling. The VIZIO audio collection can be controlled by the intuitive, easy-to-use display remote, which features a built-in LCD screen on select models, allowing users to easily view the input source, turn on Bluetooth pairing, enable/disable audio technologies, manually adjust left, right or rear speakers for more discrete control and select other audio settings. For 2015, the VIZIO sound bars have been crafted to aesthetically coordinate with the 2015 VIZIO Smart TV collection, with an all-new minimalistic, stylish, linear design that seamlessly compliments with any room. Select models feature alloy speaker covers with anodized aluminum accents for an elegant finish. A vertical array of white LED indicators illuminate in sequence to indicate different modes and settings, while a button panel on the top of the sound bars provides easy and immediate control.
