Grey Group Announces Management Changes

Grey Group announced the appointment of its next generation of leadership with the promotion of Michael Houston to Worldwide Chief Executive Officer of Grey Group, effective immediately. A ten-year veteran of Grey, he has served since 2016 as Global President and becomes only the fifth person to hold the CEO position since Grey's founding in 1917. James R. Heekin, who has led the company, as Chairman and CEO of Grey Group since 2007, will remain Executive Chairman of Grey Group. He will continue to work closely with Houston, global management and clients to ensure a smooth transition and Grey's ongoing success in the years ahead.

Alex Morrison Joins Grey as President of Grey West

Grey announced that Alex Morrison has joined Grey to lead Grey West, both the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, with a 50-person staff, a new position. This is a homecoming for Morrison who served as Senior Vice President, Digital Marketing of Grey New York from 2012 to 2014, where he helped create its content studio. Most recently, he has worked at R/GA as Vice President, Global Managing Director overseeing its content studio, an integrated model, across 10 offices. As part of Grey's ambitious growth plans for North America, Morrison will access all the capabilities of, and partner more closely with, the agency's Grey New York, led by Debby Reiner, CEO.

John Patroulis Joins Grey as Worldwide Chief Creative Officer

Grey announced that John Patroulis is joining the agency as Worldwide Chief Creative Officer. He will be based at Grey's New York office. Patroulis will also partner with Debby Reiner, CEO of Grey New York, in the management of the founding office in the network. He will oversee all creative development; help set and implement the creative vision; spearhead the recruitment of top talent and guide new business creative efforts. An innovator and marketing influencer, John Patroulis has spent the past six years at BBH New York. He became Chief Creative Officer of the agency in 2011 and was promoted to be its first-ever Creative Chairman in 2015. Grey New York recently announced the promotion of Jeff Stamp and Rob Lenois to Deputy Chief Creative Officer.
