Cornerstone Research, Inc. announced the promotions of Kristin M. Feitzinger, Samid Hussain, and Shankar Iyer to Vice President. Kristin M. Feitzinger has more than two decades of experience addressing securities and valuation issues arising in class actions, breach of contract, and general damages litigation. She particularly focuses on Rule 10b-5 and Section 11 disclosure cases involving equity and debt trades. Having consulted on more than a hundred securities cases, including some of the largest class actions in recent history, Ms. Feitzinger has handled all aspects of securities litigation, directing research on market efficiency, loss causation, materiality, and damages issues. Samid Hussain specializes in analyzing economic, marketing, and statistical (econometrics) issues in antitrust, competition, consumer fraud, product liability, breach of contract, and intellectual property matters. Dr. Hussain consults on economic issues related to liability, class certification, and damages. He has also conducted and applied survey analyses in complex market settings. He has experience in a variety of industries, including airlines, automobiles, computers, genetically modified crops, herbicides, and telecommunications. Shankar Iyer consults on cases involving intellectual property, antitrust, and other complex commercial contract disputes. Mr. Iyer has managed several large cases that have gone to trial. He has experience in complex, high-profile intellectual property disputes and has handled a wide variety of damages issues. In antitrust, he has worked on patent misuse; fair, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory (FRAND) licensing; and matters involving monopolization, price-fixing, and exclusive-dealing claims. Mr. Iyer also has experience in branding, marketing, and consumer survey topics.
