The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a shared maximum total ordering capacity of $176.25 million to be executed amongst 7 small business contract holders. The base ordering period is 3 years plus one 2-year option, for a total ordering period of up to 5 years. Under this contract, EA will provide a broad range of remedial action services for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste remediation projects in support of existing and future customers within the Northwestern Division of USACE and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2. Federal programs to be supported include Defense Environmental Restoration Program, including Installation Restoration Program and Formerly Used Defense Sites; EPA Superfund; Department of Defense Environmental Quality Program; Brownfields; Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program; and Base Realignment and Closure. EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Environmental/Ordnance Activities at Various Locations within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pacific Ocean Division, Area of Responsibility (AOR). This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a shared capacity of $9.8 million to be executed amongst a pool of 4 small businesses. The contract has a 1-year base period and four, 1-year options for a maximum 5-year period of performance. The Procurement Contracting Office is the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville. Under this contract, EA will perform Military Munitions Response Program responses involving conventional munitions, environmental compliance and remediation services, and other munitions-related services, as necessary, to enable lands and waters to be safely and efficiently used for their intended purposes. EA will be tasked to safely locate, identify, recover, evaluate, manage, and make final disposition of munitions and explosives of concern; munitions constituents; and hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste (HTRW) at various currently and formerly used defense sites, other federally controlled/owned sites, and sites in foreign jurisdictions. EA Engineering Receives Storm Water Compliance Contract with Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division, Oahu District

EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide environmental, safety, and health professional services to assist the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division, Oahu District (HWY-O) with implementation of the Facilities and Operations Support, Environmental Protection Agency Compliance, Storm Water Management Program and Safety Program for the Island of Oahu. With a 12-month base and subject to a year-to-year extension, the contract has a maximum period of performance of 6 years and a maximum value not to exceed $4,800,000. Under this contract, EA will support the ongoing development and implementation of HWY-O's proactive comprehensive Storm Water Management Program. Program activities to be supported under this contract include periodic storm water sampling and compliance inspections at HWY-O facilities; the preparation and development of compliance submittals and reports, including updates to its Environmental Management System (EMS); coordination with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies; and preparation and presentation of environmental training to HWY-O employees. The purpose of all activities will be to support HWY-O in its efforts to comply with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System requirements as well as the Hawaii Department of Health issued Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit.
