The FEV Group Holding GmbH Reinforces its Operations in Europe, South America, and Asia; Announces Executive Ch

The FEV Group Holding GmbH has restructured the global management of its subsidiaries and continues to strengthen the structure of its local sales organizations in Asia, Europe and South America. FEV's Asian market business will be reorganized under a newly founded company, FEV Asia GmbH, to which all Asian FEV subsidiaries will report. As part of this new Asian business structure, Dr. Ernst Scheid becomes chairman of the executive board and Dr. Michael Wilhelm has been appointed executive vice president. Changes were also announced within the Executive Board of FEV GmbH, which is responsible for FEV's activities in Europe and South America. Dr. Jens Ludmann has been named chairman of the executive board of FEV GmbH. In addition, Dr. Norbert Alt, vice president business region Europe & South America has been appointed as an executive vice president of FEV GmbH joining current executive vice presidents Dr. Ernst Scheid and Sami Sagur. Dr. Ernst Scheid has been an executive vice president of FEV GmbH since 2001 and is responsible for the business region "East". Since 2008, Dr. Michael Wilhelm has held the position of vice president business region "East". As such, he is responsible for sales activities in Asia and Eastern Europe. Dr. Jens Ludmann, executive vice president of FEV GmbH, assumed responsibility for the European business of FEV on July 1, 2015. Prior to that, he was chief technology officer at the Chinese automobile manufacturer Qoros Auto Co. Ltd. Dr. Norbert Alt has worked at FEV since 1989. As vice president business region Europe & South America, he has been responsible for sales in those regions since 2006.

Jens Ludmann Joins FEV Gmbh as Executive Vice President with Responsibility for FEV's European Operations

On July 1, 2015, Dr. Jens Ludmann was appointed as Executive Vice President at FEV GmbH with responsibility for FEV's European operations. Dr. Ludmann formerly worked as Chief Technology Officer for Chinese automotive manufacturer Qoros Auto Co. Ltd. Prior to his activities at Qoros Auto, and as CEO of Bavaria Yachts, Dr. Ludmann held senior positions at Ford Motor Company for more than 10 years where, among other tasks, he was a Chief Engineer with responsibility for passenger car development in the mid-size and large vehicle segment. Ludmann replaces Dr. Markus Schwaderlapp, who has taken on new challenges at Deutz AG since early 2015.

FEV Group Holding GmbH Announces Executive Changes

Effective January 1, 2015, Dr. Ralf Marquard will accept the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the FEV Group Holding GmbH. In this function, the former Head of Research and Development at heavy-duty engine developer Deutz AG becomes a member of the Board of Management at FEV Group Holding GmbH with global responsibility for all business units at the leading engineering service provider. In addition, he will take on temporary responsibility for the European and South American business from Dr. Markus Schwaderlapp, who has voluntarily left FEV to pursue new challenges. Over his career, Dr. Marquard and FEV have crossed paths on many occasions: following his studies at RWTH Aachen University, Marquard began his career at FEV. After receiving his doctorate, which was conferred by Professor Franz Pischinger in 1992, he held positions with several companies in the field of engine design, earlier in his career. After successfully working in various assignments at MAN, Dr. Marquard accepted responsibility for Research and Development at Deutz AG in 2010.
