Monday Properties Signs 72,000-Square-Foot Headquarters Lease in Rosslyn

Monday Properties has completed a 72,000-square-foot office lease with Capitol News Co. LLC for the headquarters relocation of Politico, an Arlington-based news organization that covers American politics. Politico, currently located in Rosslyn, will move a short distance away into one of Monday' s twin office towers at 1000 Wilson Boulevard in the spring of 2015. The relocation is the culmination of an extensive search for Politico by its parent, Capitol News Co.

Monday Properties Announces Management Changes

Monday Properties said it has promoted Tim Helmig, to co-president and Chief Operating Officer for the entire company. Helmig had previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at the company. In his new role, he replaces Brian Robin, who is stepping down as COO and President of the company later this month. Monday Properties elevated Helmig and Dang Phan as co-presidents of the company in Robin's wake. Helmig will now oversee all of Monday Properties' operations, its existing portfolio and project developments.
