Everest Re Group Ltd. announced that Christopher McKeon has joined Everest Insurance® as the new leader of its Commercial Casualty unit within the Risk Management Group, targeting upper middle market clients within select industry segments. Located in the group’s New York City office, Chris will oversee a unit that will provide multi-line, primary casualty solutions for accounts with loss picks between $250,000 and $1,000,000. Chris will report directly to David Sandler, Head of the Everest Risk Management Group. Chris joins Everest Insurance® from AIG, where he worked since 1992, having held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility within the AIG organization, most recently as Head of Primary Casualty Corporate Accounts.

Everest Re Group Ltd. announced Christopher Curtin has joined Everest Insurance as Head of Excess & Surplus (E&S) Property. Chris joins Everest as Vice President and National E&S leader, based in the Everest Insurance Boston office. Chris will be responsible for managing all facets of this business unit within Everest’s Property operation, including direct oversight of the Everest underwriting teams dedicated to the E&S market segment. Chris was most recently with Lexington Insurance Company, a unit of AIG, where he served as the National Branch Property Executive and US-Canada Multinational Property Leader. In this role Chris was responsible for driving strategy and underwriting performance of the Lexington wholesale business for the U.S. region. Prior to joining AIG, Chris worked as a property broker at Integro USA and Aon Risk Services. In his new role, Chris will report directly to Erik Nikodem, Head of Property at Everest Insurance.

Everest Re Group Ltd. has announced that Erik Nikodem has joined Everest Insurance as leader of its US property division. This newly formed division brings together key property underwriting groups, including the company's excess & surplus lines property, retail property, and inland marine businesses, under one unit. This enhanced alignment will promote a more efficient and coordinated effort among these business units and within the distribution community. Erik joined Everest Insurance from AIG, where he was most recently President and Global Property Executive of their Americas Region, responsible for the leadership, strategic planning and profitability of AIG's commercial and energy property businesses in the US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.
