SupplyOn AG Key Developments

SupplyOn AG Presents New Functionality for Collaborative Coordination of On-Time Delivery Data

SupplyOn AG is presenting a new functionality for coordinating on-time delivery data (OTD) in a collaborative process between a customer and its suppliers. If a delivery date differs too greatly from the one agreed, the supplier is informed of the deviation and can respond via the system. If, for example, the deviation is the fault of the customer, the negative rating can be canceled. The time slot in which a delivery is rated as being too early or too late can be configured individually. The possibility of collaborative coordination offers the advantage that the two parties can come to an agreement in a transparent and traceable manner in case of an unjustified rating. The system-supported process is efficient and usually delivers a fast result that is acceptable for both parties. On the basis of the agreed on-time delivery data, the system automatically calculates key performance indicators, such as the percentage of punctual or late deliveries. This data helps identify weaknesses and sustainably improve a supplier's performance. Since joint coordination of assessment data is routine in the aerospace industry in particular, SupplyOn has integrated the new functionality in AirSupply, its solution for that industry.

SupplyOn Expands Aerospace SCM Solution AirSupply

SupplyOn has extended its aerospace SCM solution AirSupply to now handle the concession process. The extension supports the approval of purchased parts that deviate from the specification but are nevertheless fully functional and of a high quality. Since disposing of deviating components can thus often be avoided, production costs are reduced. The new function is used in particular for expensive components that do not exactly match the specification. In these cases, approval for the deviation can be requested, processed and issued via SupplyOn in a structured, collaborative process. The necessary process steps are handled via SupplyOn AirSupply in a way that is transparent and traceable for both sides. Automatic notifications ensure that all the steps, both at the buying company and with the supplier, are tracked and processed promptly.

SupplyOn Optimizes the Purchasing of Services and Indirect Materials with New Functions

SupplyOn presents an improved purchasing solution which makes it possible to further optimize the procurement of services as well as indirect materials and thus achieve additional savings. SupplyOn's purchase-to-pay solution was expanded for this purpose and now offers numerous innovative new functions. These include the collaborative approval of quantities and materials as well as the entry of services performed which allows the services provided to be documented and billed transparently. The facility to integrate suppliers into the electronic process via e-mail allows even those business partners with whom orders are only placed on a sporadic basis to be incorporated into the process without registering. Consequently, process support involving both strategic and non-strategic suppliers can be provided for direct and indirect materials via one standardized, central system.
