Nissan Announces Management Team Changes at Mexican Unit

Nissanhas announced a series of appointments in the management team at Nissan Mexicana. Edgar Carranza has been promoted from senior manager at Nissan North America to sales director at Nissan Mexicana, reporting to Mayra Gonzalez, president and CEO of Nissan Mexicana. Additionally, Rafael Portillo has been promoted to general manager for Mexico, having formerly served as director of sales and marketing at Nissan Renault Financial Services. Portillo replaces Andres de la Parra, who has been named vice-president, CPO, and NMAC Financial Products, and Portillo will report to de la Parra.

Nissan Appoints Mayra Gonzalez as President of Nissan Mexicana, Effective July 1, 2016

Nissan announced that Mayra Gonzalez, currently regional vice president, Sales and Marketing, Nissan Mexicana, will be appointed as president, Nissan Mexicana. Gonzalez will become the first female executive ever to be appointed president of a country within the Nissan Group. Her experience spans Customer Quality, Sales and Dealer Network Development in North and South America. The appointment will be effective July 1, 2016.
