Flurry and Research Partner to Improve Mobile Ad Targeting and Offer In-App Mobile Ad Effectiveness Studies

Flurry and Research Now are partnering to improve mobile ad targeting and to better measure the effectiveness of in-app advertising. To do this, the companies have built the most robust panel and behavioral data set on mobile consumers, and will use that data to build new products to help marketers. Flurry Personas are audience segments built with behavioral data from 150 billion app sessions across 1.3 billion devices each month. Research Now will enhance Flurry Personas with profile and survey-based information about consumers' brand preference, recent purchases, purchase intent and more. Marketers can choose to enhance any of Flurry's 40+ "out of the box" Personas with Research Now insights, or work with Flurry to develop Custom Personas for the audience they are trying to reach. Leveraging Flurry's advertising platform, Research Now has built the measurement and optimization solution, ADimension Mobile, to evaluate in-app advertising effectiveness. Once the target audience has been defined and identified by Flurry, Research Now passively tracks opted-in panelists exposed to in-app advertising campaigns -- served via Flurry -- and compares them to unexposed groups. By surveying both the exposed and unexposed audiences, Research Now enables clients to analyze and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

SK Planet T Store Selects Flurry Inc. as its Preferred Mobile Analytics Provider

Flurry Inc. and SK Planet's T store have announced a partnership to bring Flurry Analytics directly to 37,000 T store app developers. SK Planet will integrate Flurry Analytics into the new T store developer center, which launched on October 14, 2013, to help developers take control of their app publishing and gain insight into users. T store will invite developers to create a Flurry account through a simple sign up process. After installing Flurry's free SDK in their app, Flurry Analytics reports will appear in the Developer Center site alongside app store download and revenue metrics, giving developers a complete picture of app performance. Flurry Analytics helps developers understand app acquisition, engagement and retention, in-app behavior, revenues, crashes, and more.

Flurry Appoints Grady Burnett as Chief Operating Officer

Flurry has announced that the company has appointed Grady Burnett as Chief Operating Officer to lead sales, marketing and business development at Flurry. Grady joins Flurry with 16 years of advertising technology experience. Most recently he spent four and a half years as Vice President, Global Marketing Solutions at Facebook where his teams managed the majority of Facebook's revenue and he helped shape and implement the company's advertising strategy. He grew the sales and operations teams from dozens to multi-hundreds in every region of the world and led the development of the ecosystem of Preferred Marketing Developers that help evangelize and implement Facebook's advertising products in 45 countries.
