RTI International to Construct New 190,000 Square Foot Building in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

RTI International announced that the company to construct a new 190,000 square foot building on its main campus in Research Triangle Park, N.C. The building will be a six-story office building, featuring a 300-person multipurpose space, collaboration center, kitchen/dining space and heritage center. A four-story parking structure with approximately 650 spaces will be constructed adjacent to the office building. The project will be located in the center of RTI's campus. Construction is expected to start this fall. RTI International has selected Duda | Paine Architects to design the building and interiors. DPR Construction is constructing the building and Stewart is providing the civil engineering design. NEMA Management is serving as a consultant to RTI throughout the planning, design, and construction process.
RTI International Wins $3 Million Federal Contract

RTI International won a $2,996,149 sole source federal contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, Bethesda, Maryland, to continue supporting the science moving towards research translation and therapy program by monitoring and coordinating its organizational complexities and regulatory aspects.
Greg McDonald Joins RTI International as Vice President of Government Relations

Gregory McDonald has joined RTI International as vice president of government and corporate relations. In his new role, McDonald will lead efforts to build and strengthen RTI's relationships among state and federal agency officials and policy makers as well as others in the commercial, educational and nonprofit sectors. McDonald joins RTI after working for seven years at Cornerstone Government Affairs, providing public affairs and government relations services for a diverse group of clients. While at Cornerstone, McDonald served as RTI's account manager for the past six years.
