IDFC Alternatives Looks To Raise $100 Million

IDFC Alternatives Limited, the alternate asset management arm of IDFC Private Equity Limited is seeking Financing. People familiar with the matter stated that IDFC Alternatives is looking to raise $100 Million as private equity.

Mytrah Plans To Raise Funds

Mytrah Energy Limited (AIM:MYT) is planning to raise funds. Vikram Kailas, Managing Director of Mytrah, said that $100-$200 million could be raised by selling shares through an initial public offering or to private equity firms, and a further $100 million by providing an exit to investor IDFC Private Equity. "We are looking to replace IDFC by March 2017 and we are also looking for some growth capital. Now, that can happen through several means; either it could be a private equity offering or it could be an IPO or it could be something else. We don’t know which mode we will take, but we are definitely in early stages of evaluating how to raise around $200-300 million,” Vikram said.

IDFC Prepares For Exits Of Up To $600 Million

IDFC Private Equity is working on exiting almost half-a-dozen portfolio companies in its first infrastructure fund to return capital to investors. M.K. Sinha, managing partner and Chief Executive Officer at IDFC Private Equity, said, “We are at the front-end of our exits in our first infrastructure fund. The fund has already returned about 20% of its corpus and with these planned exits we would have returned around $500-600 million to LPs."
