Tarshish Hapoalim Holdings and Investments Limited said, Bankpozitif Kredi ve Kalkinma Bankasi A.S. has received an initial takeover approach from an unnamed investor for 100% stake in Bankpozitif Kredi from Tarshish Hapoalim and C Faktoring A.S. Tarshish Hapoalim holds 70% and C Faktoring holds 30% stake in Bankpozitif Kredi. Tarshish Hapoalim spokeswoman also said that the potential buyer had yet to contact Bank Hapoalim B.M. (TASE:POLI)and its management and board have not discussed the matter.

Tarshish Hapoalim Seeks To Sell Its 69.8% Stake in Bankpozitif

Tarshish Hapoalim Holdings and Investments Limited plans to sell its 69.83% stake in Bankpozitif Kredi ve Kalkinma Bankasi A.S.., amid political coolness between Israel and Turkey, according to sources. Altinbas Holding AS was interested in buying the stakes, sources added. Altinba Holding AS, however, said there has not been any official talks with Tarshish Hapoalim.
