Geller & Company announced that Christopher J. Schumacher has joined the firm as a Director and Client Relationship Manager. Mr. Schumacher will work closely with members of Geller & Company's family office leadership team to develop customized wealth advisory and money management services for clients, leveraging his deep and sophisticated understanding of both traditional and alternative investment strategies including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital and real estate. He joins Geller & Company from Solaris Alternative Asset Management, where he was a Director responsible for business development and for providing fixed income analysis and risk management. Prior to Solaris, Mr. Schumacher was a Senior Investment Analyst responsible for asset allocation, performance, and attribution analysis with the investment consulting firm Cambridge Associates. In this capacity he focused on university endowments, non-profit organizations, pension plans and high-net-worth individuals. Following this, Mr. Schumacher was Director of Research at Papamarkou Wellner Asset Management, focusing on market and manager research, strategic and tactical asset allocation and portfolio construction for the firm's high-net-worth clients. He also was Co-Portfolio Manager of the firm's fund of hedge fund portfolio, as well as a Registered Representative and trader for client accounts.
