Dilon Technologies Inc. Introduces the New Purple Navigator 2.0 Gamma Probe System
Jul 6 16
Dilon Technologies Inc. introduced the new purple Navigator 2.0 gamma probe system for sentinel lymph node biopsy. The latest generation of the Navigator system is completely wireless, simple to operate, reliable for long use, and the probes are sterilizable with major sterilization methods. The advanced control system and the ergonomic stainless steel wireless probe provide the best value among all other gamma probes in the market. While Dilon is committed to provide full service support to the existing Navigator GPS system in the field, build upon the legacy of the Navigator brand with the second generation purple Navigator 2.0. The exceptional extended life of the wireless Navigator 2.0 system is provided by an advanced lithium ion battery with over 10 hours of continuous use in the operating room. Each system has two batteries that can be simultaneously charged in the charging station. The lack of a power cord reduces the hazard of wires in the operating room. The Navigator is user friendly with an instant "ON" power button. The probe has internal collimation for accurate detection of lymph nodes without delay of signal. The system does not require a setup procedure including a calibration protocol, or an external collimation which would hinder its performance. The wireless probe is powered by Zigbee, an industrial grade platform that minimizes interference with other medical equipment that utilize Bluetooth technology. The reliability of the Navigator system has been cherished by the medical community which has nicknamed the purple Navigator GPS the "Barney Box".
