Proton Holdings Bhd. Launches New Proton Exora

PROTON Holdings Berhad launched the facelift variants of Malaysia's first home-grown multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the Proton Exora with an additional new variant, the Proton Exora Super Premium (SP) which replaces the Prime variant. Enhancements to the Exora MPV include steering wheel with leather wrap for better grip, new finishing to the centre console for a sharper look, ergonomic leather seats in the higher variant for extra comfortable driving, rear air-cond vents for complete cabin comfort and rear smoked combi-lamps styled after sports cars. Seven colours are available for the new Exora: Solid White, Elegant Brown, Cocoa Grey, Genetic Silver and Tranquility Black while Luxury Blue and Indiana Grey are two new colours introduced for the new Exora models.

PROTON Holdings Berhad Opens New Service Outlet in Sungai Petani, Kedah

PROTON Holdings Berhad has announced the opening of its new service outlet which was upgraded to a 4S center in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Mercu Usaha Mesra Corporation (MUMC), who has been a PROTON dealer since 2005 had moved to a new building in Sungai Petani, Kedah, on a 78,000 square feet of land from their former 1S set up under a 2-shop lot unit. The Proton 4S center is the second center as such for the Northern region.

Proton Holdings Bhd to Launch Proton Compact Car

Proton Holdings Bhd announced that the Proton Compact Car (PCC), developed at the cost of MYR 500 million over the past four years, is set for launch on September 25, 2014 in Tanjung Malim. Powered by a new engine, the 23th Proton model was built on a new platform at the Tanjung Malim plant. The car is open for booking by end of September 13, 2014 and the delivery will start from November 2014. The PCC will come in three variants, namely executive, premium and standard, with the engine capacity of 1300cc and 1600cc.
