Heritage Home Group, LLC announced that Richard Lozyniak has joined its Board of Directors and has been named Interim Chief Executive Officer. In addition Mr. Lozyniak will assist the Board in recruiting a permanent CEO for the Company. Mr. Lozyniak has served as Chief Executive Officer of three portfolio companies of KPS Capital Partners, LP, HHG's controlling stockholder. Most recently he was CEO of North American Breweries Inc. Heritage Home Group, LLC is closing its Drexel Heritage plant in Morganton, laying off 87 employees by the end of July 2014. The Morganton operation will be the third of the companyâ s North Carolina plants to shut its doors since the start of the year. The total number of jobs lost split between Morganton, Thomasville and High Point now stretches above 250.

Heritage Home Group is closing its Drexel Heritage plant in Morganton, N.C., a move that will affect 87 jobs. The company notified the N.C. Department of Commerce of the closing on May 30, 2014. In the notice, the closure is expected to be completed by July 31, which gives the 60-day notification period required under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act relating to closings affecting 50 or more workers.
