Vítkovice Machinery Group will supply a complete steel mill to Saudi Arabia and the price may reach up to CZK 9 billion. The group will be responsible for the supply of a complete new steel mill, including secondary technology and equipment for continuous steel casting. The total price of the project reaches $1.2 billion. Vitkovice could gain some CZK 5.5 billion but the contract may be raised by another CZK 3.5 billion.

Vitkovice Holding reported consolidated earnings results for 2015. For the year, the company made a CZK 240 million profit, CZK 160 million lower than in 2014, and its sales decreased by CZK 2 billion to CZK 14 billion. Sales fell due to the global decrease in investments in oil and gas extraction and processing. The drop was significantly offset by growth in sales of Vitkovice Machinery Group's bottling plant. Operating profit reached CZK 400 million and EBITDA profit was worth CZK 1.1 billion.
