Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP announced that Jonathan Turner, former founding partner of Epstein Turner Weiss, has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a partner in the Labor & Employment practice. Mr. Turner has more than three decades of labor experience, having begun his career in 1981 as an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board, Region 21 (Los Angeles). Before entering private practice in 1988, he was staff counsel for the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, and corporate labor and employment counsel for Twentieth Century Fox.

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp Announces Executive Appointments

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP and Richardson & Patel LLP announced that the law firms will merge effective July 1, 2015. The merged firm will retain the Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp (MSK) name and combine offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C. Kevin Gaut, currently managing partner of MSK, has been appointed Chairman of the merged MSK, and Nimish Patel, currently co-founder and co-managing partner of Richardson Patel, has been appointed Vice Chairman. Richardson Patel’s co-managing partner Kevin Friedmann has been named Chairman of MSK’s Corporate Department. Mr. Patel and Mr. Friedmann will join MSK’s Governing Board. The new firm will have 130 attorneys total.

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP Names Brad Markoff as Of Counsel in the Los Angeles Office

Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP announced that Brad Markoff has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Los Angeles office, where Markoff is a member of the company's corporate practice. Markoff comes to the company after serving as managing director and general counsel of Encore Asia Ltd.
