Gulf Capital announced that it will expand its Private Debt business to Sub-Saharan Africa through an exclusive partnership with Serengeti Capital. Through this exclusive partnership, Serengeti Capital will be advising on credit and mezzanine investment opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa for Gulf Capital's second generation private debt investment fund, which will also look at investing in defensive non-cyclical sectors in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited Signs Partnership Agreement with Serengeti Capital Limited

Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited has signed into a partnership agreement with Serengeti Capital Limited intended at expanding its business portfolio and strengthening its capacity to carry out transactions within the West African investment market. As per to a statement released by Afrinvest, the company shall, under the new partnership, act as a Nigerian partner for Serengeti and be accountable for the origination, general coordination, management and implementation of any transactions for Serengeti in Nigeria, and vice versa. The business relationship includes principal subsidiaries of Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited viz Afrinvest Asset Management Limited and Afrinvest Securities Limited, in addition to key subsidiaries of Serengeti Capital viz Serengeti Asset Management and New World Securities, and covers all areas of mutual interest including Investment Banking, Asset Management, Brokerage and Investment Research.
