Delta-Q Technologies Corp. Key Developments

Delta-Q Technologies Announces Production Start for New QuiQ 1500 Industrial Battery Charger

Delta-Q Technologies announced that the company's QuiQTM 1500 Industrial Battery Charger has begun full-scale production. The QuiQ 1500 is a higher-power, 1500-watt addition to the popular QuiQ Series of industrial battery chargers. The new charger is available in 48- and 72-volt models and has begun shipping to customers. Sample units are available for evaluation. The QuiQ 1500 allows users to charge up to 30% faster than with the QuiQ 1000, as well as charge machines equipped with higher capacity battery packs. The QuiQ 1500 matches the exact dimensions and mounting configuration of the existing QuiQ, and is approved for on- or off-board vehicle applications. Applications for the QuiQ 1500 Charger include specialty golf vehicles, utility vehicles, low-speed electric vehicles (including neighborhood electric vehicles) and boom lifts. On a 110/120 V AC outlet, the QuiQ 1500 provides 1,200 watts of continuous power. On a 208/230/240 V AC outlet, the charger outputs its full 1500 watts. The QuiQ series of industrial battery chargers includes three models: the QuiQ 1000, QuiQ 1500 and QuiQ-dci charger/DC-DC converter. Delta-Q customers using QuiQ Series products include E-Z-GO, JLG Industries Inc., Nilfisk and Polaris Industries Inc. Delta-Q partners with Flextronics' High Reliability Solutions business group for contract manufacturing services. Products made in these facilities have very low defect rates and long service lives. Every Delta-Q charger provides the flexibility to charge both lead acid and lithium batteries. Delta-Q chargers come equipped with charging profiles for a broad range of battery manufacturers, including Trojan Battery, U.S. Battery, Discover Energy, Fullriver Battery and Interstate Batteries. These profiles are extensively validated in Delta-Q's battery lab to ensure performance and longevity.

Delta-Q Technologies Introduces New Aftermarket Aerial Work Platform and Utility Vehicle Battery Chargers at The Rental Show 2015

Delta-Q Technologies announced that the company will introduce its aftermarket battery chargers for aerial work platforms and the new QuiQ TM 1500 Battery Charger at The Rental Show 2015. Delta-Q will debut its IC650 (TM) Industrial Battery Charger, configured as a drop-in replacement for Skyjack and Genie scissor lifts. Additionally, the QuiQ 1500, a higher power version of the QuiQ 1000 that is found in many existing electric vehicles and industrial machines, will be introduced. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) choose the IC650 Charger because of its durability for on-board applications. When mounted on-board, the sealed IC650 can tolerate vibration, shock, dirt and fluids. For rental operators, that equates to incredible machine readiness, lower charger replacement costs, and customer satisfaction with machine runtime. Each charger comes with identical cabling to the OEM charger and a mounting adapter, allowing ease of installation and configuration for maintenance staff. Prices for the IC650 will be competitive with existing aftermarket options. The QuiQ 1500 allows users to charge existing battery packs up to 30% faster than the QuiQ 1000 or equip machines with a bigger pack, meeting a 5- or 8-hour charging time. The QuiQ 1500 is compact and matches the exact dimensions and mounting holes of the existing QuiQ 1000, allowing swift replacement of any existing QuiQ charger. In addition, it can be used as an additional, off-board charger to charge battery packs faster. Every Delta-Q charger provides users with tremendous flexibility and performance for charging lead acid batteries. Delta-Q chargers come equipped with charging profiles for popular brands and models of batteries, including Discover Energy, Fullriver, Interstate, Trojan and U.S. Battery. The company also provides generic profiles for different battery types and Amp hour ranges.
