Vidsys and Samsung S-1 Corporation Execute Global Distribution Agreement

Vidsys announced that it has signed a Strategic Collaboration and Distribution Agreement with S-1 Corporation. S1 is launching its new Security Innovation Center (SIC) at its Headquarters building in Seoul, Korea, leveraging the Vidsys CSIM Platform and Samsung’s security products along with other best-of-breed technologies. A key goal of the partnership includes delivering a proven and scalable solution set that addresses unique vertical market requirements such as for airports, smart buildings, smart cities, and others enterprise applications with converged security and information management solutions. Vidsys’ CSIM platform connects, integrates, and correlates data from sensors, devices, systems, subsystems and services to be interconnected and presented as meaningful and actionable information, in real-time. Vidsys announced the promotion of Neil Chung to the leadership team as the Vice President of Systems Engineering & Quality and also the addition of Erin Phelps to the Sales & Marketing department as Global Director of Strategic Programs. Chung joined Vidsys after nearly 15 years at Leidos and SAIC in senior management positions, delivering complex infrastructure protection solutions, globally. Chung will be responsible for heading up the newly formed Quality Management and Support Office (QMSO) at Vidsys with global responsibilities in the areas of systems engineering, quality assurance and technical support. Phelps joins Vidsys after having held executive management positions at The Mariner Group and also CIBER where he drove significant growth in the homeland security, public safety, and critical infrastructure markets worldwide. Phelps will be responsible for spearheading the strategic partnerships, growth, direction and sales strategy of Vidsys globally.
