Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP elected eight new attorneys as partners while welcoming three new partners into the firm. The eight newly elected attorneys were previously associates and include: Tyson Bickley, Daniel Flournoy, Jon Gaston, Kristen Larremore (Birmingham office), Laura Merritt, Wes Scott (Memphis office), Lauran Sturm, Chris Wilson. The three new partners joining Waller include: Frances Fenelon, John Burns, Jeff Parrish. Tyson Bickley assists clients from a range of industries, including healthcare, healthcare information technology, technology, manufacturing, and distribution in relation to corporate and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital financing, and securities. Bickley's experience includes assisting publicly traded corporations as well as early-stage companies. Daniel Flournoy assists lenders, creditors and borrowers on matters related to senior and subordinated commercial credit facilities, distressed debt, financial restructurings, and bankruptcy litigation. He works on a diverse set of matters, for clients in the healthcare, banking and financial services industries. His litigation experience covers a broad range of probate and estate administration matters as well as conservatorship proceedings. Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis has added six attorneys, including two partners who were previously with SpecialtyCare and a regional firm, to its corporate practice group. Richard Hills, who has joined downtown-based Waller as a partner. Hills, pictured at left, has spent nearly 20 years providing financial institutions and their directors and officers with legal guidance and strategic planning advice. Previously, he was a partner in the financial institutions group at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in Atlanta. David Head, who is returning to Waller as partner after working almost two years as general counsel at Nashville-based SpecialtyCare. Head, pictured below, works with health care companies on various strategic transactions as well as securities offerings and governance matters. Ashleigh VanLandingham, who works with health care providers, manufacturers and other businesses on acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Before joining Waller, she worked in the Washington, D.C. Ryan Franklin, who works on general corporate and business matters, including venture capital financing, entity formation and mergers and acquisitions. Zachary Hinkle, who works with health care and financial services clients on acquisitions. Before joining Waller, he spent two years as a law clerk to the Hon. Andrew Garrett, who advises clients on M&A deals as well as securities and corporate governance work.
