Mode Media Introduces Mode Video

Mode Media introduced Mode Video - a new digital video streaming service integrated in the new Mode social platform and a new roster of original programming at its 2015 IAB NewFronts presentation in New York City. Mode Video is a new native in-feed service that provides direct streaming of digital videos to consumers across multiple delivery formats, allowing professional video studios, content owners, video stars and Mode Studios to stream original content, sponsored series and branded entertainment directly to users. Mode Video includes a service to upload professional original videos that are streamed directly to consumers in Mode's video player. In addition, professional critics, curators and experts can embed videos from major services like YouTube, Vimeo or their own video sites to Mode Stories. Further, movies and TV shows can be curated to play in the content owner apps, such as, Apple iTunes, AppleTV, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu - bringing the simplicity of music playlist apps like Beats Music and Spotify to digital video. For brands, Mode is introducing the canvas for native stories - 'Mode Branded Story' - bringing together the interactivity of TV and the emotion of print to digital. Branded stories with video can be distributed by the Mode native in-feed service, targeting users in feeds at scale for content marketing. Mode now has a full video product suite including native pre-roll, native video distribution, custom branded video content and editorial series sponsorship and integration.

Glam Media, Inc. and Hubert Burda Media Group Announce Exclusive Partnership to Launch Glam Media Russia

Glam Media, Inc. announced an exclusive partnership with Hubert Burda Media to launch and operate Glam Media in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Samir Arora, Glam Media Chairman and CEO, and Fabrizio D'Angelo, CEO of Burda International, made the announcement at the annual DLD Conference in Munich. In the new company, Glam Media Russia, Burda International will provide marketing and advertising solutions for premium brands, as well as other Burda sites. The partnership provides Glam Media with a wider footprint for serving global clients and their international budgets.
