Crowe & Dunlevy has announced attorneys André B. Caldwell as chair and Susan E. Huntsman as co-chair for the Diversity Committee. The committee was formed in 2000 to promote the strength that women, minority and LGBTQ lawyers add to the fabric of the firm and to the legal environment overall. Caldwell serves in the criminal defense, compliance and investigations and litigation and trial practice groups in the Oklahoma City office. He previously worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Huntsman serves in the appellate, energy, environment and natural resources and Indian law and gaming practice groups in the Tulsa office. She represents clients before state, federal and tribal trial courts, in addition to appellate tribunals, often focusing on natural resources issues and matters affecting those in Indian Country.

Sanford C. Coats, former U.S. attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma, joined Crowe & Dunlevy as a director in the Oklahoma City office. He serves as co-chair of the firm’s White Collar, Compliance and Investigations practice group and is a member of the Litigation & Trial practice group. During his time as a U.S. attorney, he served on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee, meeting regularly with Attorney General Eric Holder to address Department of Justice issues, as well as a member of the AGAC subcommittees on Native American Issues, Criminal Practice, Terrorism and National Security, and Crimes Against Children. He also served as co-chairman of the government-wide Domestic Terrorism Working Group.
