The Board of Trustees at National Opinion Research Center(NORC) at the University of Chicago announced that Dan Gaylin, NORC's current Executive Vice President of Research Programs, has been named the Acting President. The Board of Trustees is currently conducting a search to replace outgoing President and CEO John Thompson who was recently appointed to lead the U.S. Census Bureau. Gaylin has been at NORC for over 12 years, most recently as Executive Vice President for Research Programs.
