Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has elected Jennifer Bedoya, Sarah Cronin, Cliff Katz, Marisa Lorenzo and Aaron Rosenfeld to partner and promoted ten attorneys to special counsel, effective July 1, 2017. The new Kelley Drye partners serve clients within the following areas of focus: Jennifer Bedoya, Real Estate Jennifer focuses on commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States. Sarah Cronin, Media & Entertainment/Insurance Recovery Sarah represents and advises media and entertainment companies on a variety of litigation matters, including copyright, trademark, defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, breach of contract, employment and cyber-piracy and Internet domain name retrieval through the World Intellectual Property Organization. She also represents and advises policyholders in insurance recovery matters against their insurance providers to enforce their coverage rights, helping them to recover millions of dollars in unpaid claims and damages. Sarah is also the co-chair of the California Chapter of the Media Law Resource Center and several American Bar Association committees. Sarah is a member of the California State Bar. Cliff represents generic pharmaceutical companies in complex commercial litigation. Cliff is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars. M Marisa is a litigator who focuses on investigations, enforcement actions and lawsuits involving the communications industry. She works with clients, including communication service providers, to navigate government investigations, Federal Communications Commission enforcement actions, and False Claims Act cases brought under both federal and state laws. In addition, Marisa represents clients in a variety of industries in all phases of complex federal and state commercial litigation, including trials, appeals, arbitration and mediation proceedings. She is a member of the New York and Connecticut State Bars. The new special counsel, and their practice groups, are: Cameron Argetsinger for Insurance Recovery. Cameron focuses on insurance recovery litigation. Matt Basile for Real Estate. Matt has broad experience in commercial real estate law, including mortgage, mezzanine and construction financing, acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture developments, and net lease transactions, including VA facility development deals. Katie Bond for Advertising Law. Katie provides regulatory counseling and litigation support in matters involving a variety of consumer products, including dietary supplements, foods, over-the-counter drug products, cosmetics and sports equipment. She regularly reviews product labeling and advertising to determine compliance with federal regulations. Melissa Byroade for Litigation.
