Parallels announced the release of the first RDP client for Raspberry Pi, giving organizations the ability to transform the low-cost device into a complete workstation. For the first time since Raspberry Pi’s launch in 2012, users can use any application remotely and use full remote desktops published by Parallels 2X Remote Application Server (RAS). Parallels will exhibit at the Microsoft Ignite conference in Chicago, IL, May 4-8 and demo Parallels 2X RAS working with Raspberry Pi as a low-cost way for IT managers to increase employee efficiency with cross-platform application delivery. For the first time ever, a low-cost and small Raspberry Pi computer, pictured attached to a monitor and keyboard, can be transformed by Parallels 2X Remote Application Server software into a complete workstation that can access Windows virtual applications such as Excel and remote desktops, providing IT managers a low-cost way to increase employee efficiency with cross-platform application delivery. Parallels Announces the Latest Version of Its Office 365 APS Package

Parallels announced the latest version of its Office 365 APS package which will support Microsoft partners participating in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program (CSP). The CSP APS package for Office 365 provides Microsoft CSP partners with a solution for automating customer on-boarding, service delivery, bundling related cloud services and building a reseller channel. The Microsoft CSP program will increase the number of Microsoft Office 365 resellers worldwide. The CSP program requires participating Microsoft channel partners to own the entire Office 365 customer relationship including provisioning, billing, invoicing, support and administration. Parallels proven experience automating Microsoft cloud solutions is a key reason many CSP partners will launch Office 365 using Parallels Automation. Using the Parallels Automation platform, partners have already delivered more than 1.5 million Office 365 and Exchange business class e-mail seats. The Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program opens up a new opportunity for the Microsoft channel partners who deploy Parallels Automation will be immediately ready to offer new Microsoft CSP cloud services as they become available.
