Qatar Airways is in talks to acquire 40% stake in Go Airlines (India) Ltd. according to media reports in India. Go Airlines has already appointed two bankers to facilitate the deal, reports added. Sources also claimed that GoAir had appointed JP Morgan to find fresh investment, following a change in foreign direct investment (FDI) laws that mean overseas carriers can now acquire up to 49% of Indian airlines. GoAir is owned by The Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited Spokesperson for GoAir, said at the time that the company does not comment on market speculation, Arabian Business reported.
