Sundaram Mutual Fund launches New Close Ended Scheme, Sundaram Hybrid Fund - Series M

Sundaram Mutual Fund has launched a new close ended hybrid scheme named "Sundaram Hybrid Fund - Series M" with maturity period of 1,300 days from the date of allotment. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is INR 10 per unit. The NFO opened for subscription on May 19 and will close on May 28. According to the offer document filed with SEBI, the entry load is nil and since the scheme is planned to be listed on the Stock Exchange or any other exchange, the exit load charge will be not applicable. This suggests that the investors wishing to exit may do so through the stock exchange mode. The minimum application amount is INR 5,000 and in multiples of INR 10 thereafter. The options available under the plan of the scheme are Growth and Dividend option. The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against CRISIL MIP Blended Index. The asset allocation of the scheme will be in such a way that the objective of the scheme to generate capital appreciation and current income will be met by investing in a judicious mix of investments in equities and fixed income securities. Hence, the scheme will allocate 55% to 90% of asset in Fixed Income Securities, 0% to 20% of asset in Money Market Instruments and Cash Equivalents and 10% to 45% of asset in Equity and Equity related Instruments.

Sundaram Mutual Fund Launches Sundaram Fixed Term Plan GW Close Ended Income Scheme

Sundaram Mutual Fund launched a new close ended income scheme named "Sundaram Fixed Term Plan GW" with maturity period of 1,100 days from the date of allotment. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is INR 10 per unit. The NFO opened for subscription on April 21 and will close on April 23. According to the offer document filed with SEBI, the entry load is nil and since the scheme is planned to be listed on the Stock Exchange or any other exchange, the exit load charge will be not applicable. This suggests that the investors wishing to exit may do so through the stock exchange mode. The minimum application amount is INR 5,000 and in multiples of INR 10 thereafter. The options available under the plan of the scheme are Growth and Dividend option. The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index. Sandeep Agarwal will be the fund manager of the scheme. The asset allocation of the scheme will be in such a way that the objective of the scheme to generate income will be met by investing in debt and money market securities, which mature on or before the maturity of the scheme. Hence, the scheme will allocate 80% to 100% of asset in Short Term and medium term Debt Instruments and 0% to 20% of asset in Money Market Instruments.

Sundaram Mutual Fund Introduces Sundaram Banking & PSU Debt Fund

Sundaram Mutual Fund has launched the New Fund Offer (NFO) of Sundaram Banking & PSU Debt Fund, a close ended income scheme. The NFO opens for subscription on March 25, 2015 and closes on March 27, 2015. No entry load or exit load will be applicable for the scheme. The minimum subscription amount is INR 5,000. The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income and capital appreciation by primarily investing in a portfolio of debt and money market securities that are issued by banks, public sector undertakings and Public Financial Institutions.
