Financial Services Roundtable Appoints Chris Feeney as President of its Technology Division, BITS

The Financial Services Roundtable welcomed Chris Feeney as president of FSR's technology division, BITS. Feeney previously was managing director and chief information officer for LPL Financial and is currently president of CF Feeney Consulting. He has served as an executive at financial and technology firms including Thomson Financial, Bank of America, Telerate and Multex Inc.

Financial Services Roundtable Announces Executive Changes

The Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) announced the addition and promotion of new government affairs staff and leadership dedicated to investment management, banking and fraud reduction in the financial sector. Jill E. Hoffman will join FSR as vice president of government affairs for Investment management. She joins FSR from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), where she has served as their chief lobbyist before the Senate Banking and House Financial Services Committees since 2006. Hoffman played a leading role in securing key legislative victories for the financial industry over the past decade. FSR has promoted Anthony Cimino to senior vice president of Government Affairs, where he leads FSR's efforts on insurance and will take on an expanded role on banking issues. Cimino joined FSR in 2012 and previously served as professional staff for the House Financial Services Committee. He played a central role in securing the passage of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA), the Collins Amendment and other important issues for the financial industry. Roxane Schneider has been promoted to Director, Fraud Risk. Schneider has been a key driver of FSR's fraud reduction program for nearly five years, helping financial institutions examine risks and craft best practices and industry solutions to combat fraud. FSR is a leading voice in Washington on fraud and cybersecurity at financial institutions and Schneider will further expand such efforts.

Financial Services Roundtable Announces Executive Changes

Synovus Chairman and CEO Kessel Stelling is the new treasurer of the Financial Services Roundtable. The role also makes Stelling a member of the FSR Executive Committee. Stelling replaces Tom Watjen, president and CEO of Unum Group, who retired April 1, 2015.
