L Capital Partners, Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited and International Finance Corporation (IFC) is in advanced talks to acquire 30% stake in Aditya Birla Retail Limited. for about $400-$500 million, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters. "The talks are quite advanced and are in the final lap," said one of the sources. Temasek and Aditya Birla declined to comment. L Capital and IFC were not immediately available for comment.

J. K. Helene Curtis Ltd., a Raymond Limited (BSE:500330) company is looking at selling up to 20% stake to PE investors. Half a dozen PE funds such as ICICI Venture; IDFC Limited (BSE:532659); Partners Group Holding AG (SWX:PGHN); L Capital Partners; CX Partners; and Everstone Capital Management have given term sheets and due diligence of the company is over, three people with direct knowledge of the development said. The company is looking at raising INR 1.5 billion and is being valued at INR 7.5 billion. Investment bank Lincoln International has been appointed to scout for investors. "The company has got term sheets from around a dozen private equity funds," an investment banker with knowledge of the development said, adding that the company has shortlisted just three PE funds for the second round. ICICI Ventures, Partners Group and Everstone Capital has been shortlisted, another person aware of the ongoing discussions said. "The company is looking at raising around INR 1.5 billion to expand its manufacturing and open more standalone stores," a private equity executive part of the ongoing discussions said. "We decline to comment," said the spokesperson for JK Helene Curtis.
