PanTerra Networks Expands WorldSmart and SmartBox Cloud Services
Oct 7 14
PanTerra Networks announced that it has expanded its WorldSmart and SmartBox cloud services to include interoperability with Salesforce, Dropbox and Box. The new Salesforce cloud connector seamlessly connects PanTerra Networks' CloudUC communications infrastructure to Salesforce CRM for faster response and streamlined workflow. In addition, SmartBox's interoperability with Dropbox and Box provides an efficient method for customers to transfer files from one account to another by replicating all content on either platform automatically into a SmartBox account. The interoperability features are simple to implement and increase user functionality with services offered by third-party vendors. Salesforce, Dropbox and Box interoperability features are immediately available for SmartBox and WorldSmart CloudUC customers. Licenses are immediately available through PanTerra Networks directly or through a participating PanTerra partner. Salesforce Cloud Connector: PanTerra's Salesforce interoperability includes a new cloud connector to Salesforce. The new connector enables end users to accurately record Call Detail Record (CDR) data from in-bound and out-bound calls directly into their Salesforce account. In addition, the new Salesforce connector creates a seamless connection between call centers and an agent's desk phone or integrated softphone to Salesforce. This service automates the date recording process, eliminating the need to manually enter data and resulting in time and cost savings and higher productivity. Dropbox and Box Replicator: The interoperability with Dropbox and Box provides a convenient and automated way to migrate user content to SmartBox. Customers now can successfully transfer their data from their Dropbox and Box accounts without manually recreating their directory structure, downloading their data and re-uploading it into SmartBox.
PanTerra Networks Announces its SmartBox Service
Mar 18 14
PanTerra Networks announced the company's SmartBox service has developed early success with channel partners. For the first time, the service allows partners to have a lifetime of recurring revenue through viral marketing opportunities. Having sold through the unified communications channel for years, the company that sales cycles can be long and the opportunity for partners to shorten the sales cycle is limited. Cloud services now provide shorter sales cycles, but have lacked a recurring revenue steam. The company's SmartBox service helps channel partners be more profitable than ever in a shorter period of time. Current partners selling the SmartBox service include Converged Network Services (CNSG), Dial Communications, eXemplify Group, Fulton Communications, Converged Communications, Live Wire and Creative Micro. The company's channel-friendly freemium model of SmartBox includes secure sync, share and store technologies with QoS, for a lifetime recurring revenue stream. Using this model, unified communications partners can significantly shorten their sales cycles and upsell new services such as cloud file sharing, sync and storage. Partners can leverage viral marketing by offering the free SmartBox version and then being automatically credited whenever customers upgrade their service. In addition, complete PanTerra syndication content is available; it can be loaded onto a partner's website with a single line of code. The company's fully automated Web store minimizes cost of sales and maximizes selling opportunities. The SmartBox file sync, share and store service can be installed without any hardware, software or telecom provisioning and overlays customer's existing telecom infrastructure. SmartBox significantly improves upon the store, share and sync features that have been available as separate offerings for several years by building-in unified communications features, such as audio/video calling and conferencing, secure IM, and presence and full Web meeting collaboration, and by providing consistent ultra-high service attributes. By deploying full end-to-end management of its cloud services, last-mile bandwidth and associated networking equipment, the company delivers superior service attributes far exceeding industry averages in availability, reliability, security, scalability, QoS, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and support. These attributes ensure optimal performance while guaranteeing complete IT peace of mind. With SmartBox, team members can use the online workspace to monitor, view and modify content from anywhere on any device -- all in real time. SmartBox also provides significant TCO savings. Until now, each independent cloud service has required users to pay a minimum monthly fee to offset the provider's overhead costs. Because it combines multiple services into one solution, SmartBox can save a mid-market enterprise with 1,000 users between $65,000 and $100,000 per year.
PanTerra Networks, Inc. Announces New Enterprise-Grade Administration Tools for Unified Cloud Communications
Dec 12 13
PanTerra Networks, Inc. announced the release of new administration tools that improve WorldSmart scale for mid-market enterprises. These new features significantly enhance security and reduce the need to implement and manage multiple security applications. The tools simplify management functions by adding the ability to define administrative roles and privileges and to configure centralized management, distributed management or a hybrid of both, thus allowing enterprises to custom-tailor their solution to their existing IT infrastructure. This ability to create a hierarchy of administrators is a powerful feature for larger enterprises, allowing some local administration of users as well as centralized control of higher-level administrative functions. The features simplify administration functions such as global group management and customizable billing. Built-in Security Features: Enhanced security features enable management and control of all access devices, including mobile devices, desktops and IP phones. Built-in multi-phase authentication management tools and enhanced feature-management capabilities allow users to restrict features on a per-user basis. Built-in security that authenticates all devices accessing the service significantly enhances security and eliminates the need for mid-market enterprises to purchase, implement and manage a separate security application or even multiple security applications. Few generic security applications cover all devices, including IP phones. Centralized or Distributed Management: WorldSmart now supports single or multiple administrators, who can be restricted to administer a subset of users within the account. Users can define multiple administrator roles and privilege levels to different administrators within an account. Global Administration Operations: Advanced group-based billing allows for fully customized account billing, including multi-location billing, franchise billing, departmental billing and regional billing. Centralized grouping management for all group features within an account, including ring, ACD, AA, email, fax and voicemail groups, lets administrators set up groups once and use them for all features within the service. A powerful multi-select user interface optimized for larger enterprises allows administrators to perform a function or administrative operation on several users simultaneously, saving significant time. Import/export account creation allows account creation and setup from a single Excel spreadsheet in seconds. Current account configurations can also be saved to a spreadsheet. Administration and management can be accomplished faster and with fewer resources, from any location in the world.
