PanTerra Networks Expands WorldSmart and SmartBox Cloud Services

PanTerra Networks announced that it has expanded its WorldSmart and SmartBox cloud services to include interoperability with Salesforce, Dropbox and Box. The new Salesforce cloud connector seamlessly connects PanTerra Networks' CloudUC communications infrastructure to Salesforce CRM for faster response and streamlined workflow. In addition, SmartBox's interoperability with Dropbox and Box provides an efficient method for customers to transfer files from one account to another by replicating all content on either platform automatically into a SmartBox account. The interoperability features are simple to implement and increase user functionality with services offered by third-party vendors. Salesforce, Dropbox and Box interoperability features are immediately available for SmartBox and WorldSmart CloudUC customers. Licenses are immediately available through PanTerra Networks directly or through a participating PanTerra partner. Salesforce Cloud Connector: PanTerra's Salesforce interoperability includes a new cloud connector to Salesforce. The new connector enables end users to accurately record Call Detail Record (CDR) data from in-bound and out-bound calls directly into their Salesforce account. In addition, the new Salesforce connector creates a seamless connection between call centers and an agent's desk phone or integrated softphone to Salesforce. This service automates the date recording process, eliminating the need to manually enter data and resulting in time and cost savings and higher productivity. Dropbox and Box Replicator: The interoperability with Dropbox and Box provides a convenient and automated way to migrate user content to SmartBox. Customers now can successfully transfer their data from their Dropbox and Box accounts without manually recreating their directory structure, downloading their data and re-uploading it into SmartBox.

PanTerra Networks announced the company's SmartBox service has developed early success with channel partners. For the first time, the service allows partners to have a lifetime of recurring revenue through viral marketing opportunities. Having sold through the unified communications channel for years, the company that sales cycles can be long and the opportunity for partners to shorten the sales cycle is limited. Cloud services now provide shorter sales cycles, but have lacked a recurring revenue steam. PanTerra Networks, Inc. announced the release of new administration tools that improve WorldSmart scale for mid-market enterprises. These new features significantly enhance security and reduce the need to implement and manage multiple security applications. The tools simplify management functions by adding the ability to define administrative roles and privileges and to configure centralized management, distributed management or a hybrid of both, thus allowing enterprises to custom-tailor their solution to their existing IT infrastructure. This ability to create a hierarchy of administrators is a powerful feature for larger enterprises, allowing some local administration of users as well as centralized control of higher-level administrative functions. The features simplify administration functions such as global group management and customizable billing. Built-in Security Features: Enhanced security features enable management and control of all access devices, including mobile devices, desktops and IP phones. Built-in multi-phase authentication management tools and enhanced feature-management capabilities allow users to restrict features on a per-user basis. Built-in security that authenticates all devices accessing the service significantly enhances security and eliminates the need for mid-market enterprises to purchase, implement and manage a separate security application or even multiple security applications.
