Compusearch Unveils FMS Breakthrough at Sea-Air-Space Exposition
Apr 26 16
Compusearch will demonstrate anticipated extensions to its FMSvue™ product during The Navy League's exposition at the Gaylord National Convention Center on May 16th. PEOs, Program Managers, FMS Case Managers, and CM/DM leaders face a wide array of challenges as they strive to achieve their missions on time and within budget. Programs' challenges specific to FMS include: Difficulty adhering to a wide range of dynamic reporting rules governing the foreign disclosure process; Improperly sequencing approvals from a shifting set of experts, commanders, and oversight staff; Scarce availability of hosted solutions that give foreign nationals access only to approved, need-to-know FMS information.
Federal Emergency Management Agency Deploys Compusearch’s PRISM® Contract Writing System
Feb 19 16
Compusearch® announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is the latest Homeland Security component to migrate on to the PRISM® acquisition management solution. DHS offers the Enterprise PRISM Instance, or EPI, as its agency-dedicated shared services acquisition and grants lifecycle management system. Important considerations in DHS’s selection of PRISM® were the lifecycle acquisition functional support from planning and requisitioning in the program offices through contract management and closeout, coupled with architectural support for site hierarchy, site segregation and scale as represented by thousands of users. Even prior to FEMA coming aboard, the EPI instance of PRISM® supported 1,400 DHS procurement professionals. FEMA’s instance of PRISM® interfaces with IFMIS, FEMA’s financial management system. This integration facilitates improved customer service, enhanced management reporting and optimized productivity and performance of FEMA’s EPI PRISM® users numbering 300 contracting professionals, requisitioners, reviewers and approvers.
