China Metallurgical Construction Group Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Zhuoda Real Estate

China Metallurgical Construction Group and Zhuoda Real Estate Group have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Both parties will jointly promote the utilization of energy-conservation construction materials in overseas projects, and thus expand the cooperative fields and conduct overall collaboration. As per the agreement, CMCCLTD Group shall: make full play of its accumulated experiences in the advanced construction technologies and the relevant R&D work, as well as the construction and management experiences and market resources accumulated during its overseas project execution; and work with Zhuoda Real Estate Group and utilize its outstanding strength in the fields of R&D, application, production and manufacturing of green environment-friendly and energy-conservation construction materials, as well as the green intelligent modular housing products. As per the agreement, CMCCLTD Group will: jointly promote the President's Housing Project of Cote d'Ivoire; conduct in-depth collaboration on marketing, project, technology, talent, construction and management; intensify efforts in building this project into the sample housing project in Cote d'Ivoire and even the whole Africa; and jointly explore the market in Africa. It is also declared in this Agreement that, both parties will work closely and deepen the cooperation in the domestic key markets and the major projects.

China Metallurgical Group Corp. (MCC) planned to invest USD 347 million in building a steel plant with annual production capacity of one million tons in southwest of Iran. Upon completion, the plant would create 2,000 jobs there.
