Ed Appoints Gary Corke as CEO of Underwriting

Ed has announced the appointment of Gary Corke as CEO of Underwriting. In this role, he will be responsible for managing Ed's MGAs across the globe and developing an integrated global MGA business unit. Corke will take up his role in February and report to Steve Hearn, Group CEO. Corke brings thirty-six years of experience to Ed. He joins from SHA Specialist Underwriters, where he served as CEO for four years. Prior to this, Corke co-founded Emerald Underwriting Managers and held the position of CEO for fourteen years. During his tenure, Corke built Emerald Underwriting Managers into the larger property MGA in Africa.

Ed Launches Accident & Health Division; Appoints Graham Roberts as Head

Ed has announced the launch of its Accident & Health (A&H) division with the appointment of Graham Roberts as head. Roberts will take up his role in December and report to Chris Bonard, ceo-Specialty. Roberts brings twenty-six years of experience in the A&H arena to Ed. He joins from Willis Towers Watson/Miller where he has served as divisional director for over five years.
