Legendary Entertainment Announces Management Changes

Thomas Tull is resigning as Legendary Entertainment's chairman and CEO. He co-founded the company in 2005 and sold it to the Wanda Group. Mr. Tull, who owns a working farm in Washington, Pa., will now have the title of founding chairman. Jack Gao, group senior vice-president and CEO of international investments and operations at Wanda Cultural Industry Group, has been named interim CEO while the owners search for a permanent replacement.

Dalian Mulls IPO For Legendary

Dalian Wanda Group Corporation Ltd. intends to launch an initial public offering (IPO) for its film production unit. The company plans to pair Legend Pictures, LLC with its in-house film production unit and seek a stock market listing for the packaged operations, Wang Jianlin, Chairman, said. He did not specify a timetable for an initial public offering listing, nor say where it would occur.

Dalian Wanda Eyes Legend Pictures

Dalian Wanda Group Corporation Ltd. is reportedly in talks to acquire Legend Pictures, LLC. Reuters reported that expected acquisition price is between $3 billion and $4 billion. An agreement has been signed and could be announced as early as next week, a person said, asking not to be identified because the deal is not yet public.
