Fonality Inc. Key Developments

Fonality Introduces Click to Dial for Browsers

Fonality has introduced click to dial for browsers, a new Microsoft Outlook plug-in that turns phone numbers into a hyperlink that dials through the user's Fonality line when clicked. With the addition of Outlook, Fonality click to dial is available across four categories. In addition to the company's own options, several partners have added the feature to their software using Fonality's API. Fonality builds business phone solutions with a choice of cloud VoIP packages, deployment models.

Fonality Inc. Expands UC Suite with Intellinote Integration

Fonality Inc. announced that its Intellinote integration provides the latest example. Intellinote adds flexible, virtual spaces where individuals and teams can manage projects, tasks, and related documents. Intellinote launches from the convenience of Heads Up Display™ (HUD), a single browser window where users can call, see who's available, audio and video conference, chat, and more. The virtual workspaces that make Intellinote the perfect collaboration tool can be accessed quickly and easily from HUD Web. Intellinote offers individuals and teams of all sizes the tools needed to tackle any project, including: Project Management: Plan and manage critical projects and keep everyone accountable to ensure an on-time delivery of the finished product. Digital Documentation: Capture and document all the items team needs, including notes, forms, reports, pictures, emails, and more. Task Tracking: Create and manage tasks for yourself or team. Users can assign tasks, add due dates, comment, monitor, and track progress. Bringing these features into the HUD ecosystem is powerful stuff. One beta customer planned to add a separate collaboration vendor until they heard about Intellinote. They jumped at the chance to make collaboration part of their UC experience instead. Customers looking to do the same can add Intellinote to their Fonality system for just $10 per user, per month.

Ingram Micro and Fonality Partner to Provide Business Phone Service

Ingram Micro announced it has added the availability of cloud data business phone systems from Fonality to Ingram Micro resellers throughout North America, Europe, and Asia through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. Fonality provides service with United States and Australian telephone numbers, and utilizing its unique Hybrid-Hosted® deployment model, in 97 other countries where customers can provide their own telephone network access. Although businesses are moving increasingly more of their infrastructure to the cloud, most still have business phone systems designed to be owned and operated on premises, and don't take advantage of the many options available in more modern unified communications systems. Increasingly, companies are looking to move their phone system to the cloud while also taking advantage of new features such as company messaging and presence, dedicated conference calling, video collaboration and screen sharing, file sharing, and call center applications. This allows IT managers to outsource the headache of running their own phone system while also taking advantage of an easy-to-consume monthly service pricing model that scales with them as they grow and technology changes.
