MissionMode Launches New Version of the MissionMode Situation Center Suite

MissionMode announced that the new version of the MissionMode Situation Center Suite appeared for customers on July 23, 2015, at 8:00 PM CDT. This new MissionMode release version includes a new alert mapping feature to provide an enhanced situational awareness capability, a simplified create page, and enhanced REST calls to support system integrations. Alert Mapping. The new mapping feature allows alert creators to assign a location to an alert. Specifically, new Situation Center or Notification Center alerts can be given a location via a drag and drop map interface. Once that is done, member home screens will display a map with pins to identify the locations of both open Situation Center and Notification Center alerts that they have been included in. This is the first of many enhancements to come that will increase the situational awareness capabilities of MissionMode. Updated Create Page Once the enhanced mapping capability is activated within MissionMode organization, the updated create page will also be available. This updated create page tabs the sections to simplify the creation of both Situation Center and Notification Center alerts. Additionally, the company included a few new API features to support continued integration efforts with third-party applications.

MissionMode Announces MissionMode Mobile Enhancements for iOS and Android Users

MissionMode has launched a new release of MissionMode Mobile, a mobile application that enables anytime, anywhere crisis management. MissionMode Mobile extends the capabilities of the company's core web-based applications Situation Center™ for simplified incident management and Notification Center™ which provides intelligent emergency notification. MissionMode Mobile includes a variety of unique features that dramatically improve an organization's ability to manage unplanned events. During a crisis, responders are typically away from their desks. They can't use traditional crisis management software since they are not in front of a computer. MissionMode Mobile enables responders and other team members to share critical incident information and manage response from the palm of their hands. Some of the unique advantages of the MissionMode Mobile suite include: 2-Way, Rich Media Field Communications " text, photos, video and form sharing; Unlimited length text messages; Superior text to speech conversion; Real-time crowdsourcing of critical incident information; GPS location-based messaging and reporting; Document and link sharing between mobile devices. Now both Android and iOS enabled smartphones and tablets can enjoy full and seamless access to the MissionMode Situation Center™ Suite. Enhancements have made it easier to manage company-wide deployments of the mobile application with a "New User /Forgot Password" link that simplifies mobile user access and sign-up. The current release also debuts the Send Now feature, which enables MissionMode alert creators to send a pre-assigned template from their MissionMode application home screen with a single click. Additionally with the Send Now functionality, they can send any available template with one click from the existing create page. System administrators will appreciate new enhancements that simplify integration. The API toolkit now includes two new REST calls to interact with active alerts, and testing is nearly complete for new router software.
