NBCC Might Buy Four PSUs

NBCC (India) Limited (BSE:534309) might buy Hindustan Prefab Limited, Engineering Projects (India) Ltd, National Petroleum Construction Company Limited and HSCC (India) Limited. The Centre owns a 75% stake in NBCC and a 100% stake in others. While officially it is up to the advisors to come up with a prospective buyer among large PSUs, senior government sources say that NBCC is the one likely to buy the four companies as there is ‘synergy’.
National Petroleum Construction Company and ONGC Sign $141 Million Oil Field Deal

National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) and the Indian firm Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) have inked a $141 million oil field deal. Under the terms of the deal, NPCC would be responsible for replacing 10 wellhead platform topsides at ONGC’s Mumbai High North and South fields, MHN and MHS, located in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Four wellhead platform topsides are located on the MHN field and six are on MHS. The decommissioning and removal of the existing topsides of the ONGC fields are part of engineering, procurement and construction contract and the entire project is slated for completion on 30 April 2018.
Saudi Aramco Awards Long-Term Agreement to National Petroleum Construction Company

Saudi Aramco's Offshore Projects Department recently awarded a fifth Long-Term Agreement (LTA) to National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) of Abu Dhabi for the execution of its world-class offshore development program. In June 2015, four LTA contracts were awarded to internationally renowned Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Offshore installation (EPIC) contractors. Under the LTAs, contractors will be entrusted with the responsibility to deliver a huge number of offshore oil and gas producing platforms, tie-in platforms, pipelines, power cables, and all the related facilities required under the current Master Plan for Saudi Aramco's offshore fields. The LTA contracts have a fixed duration of six years with options to be extended for up to twelve years in total.
